Marc has a way of evoking memories and connecting us with one another. "A curio cabinet added to after each new death" from "On Any Given Day You Are." "Today you walk the steep cliffs where hikers trod the paths of slow generations" from "The Scent of the Sea." "It was hard to believe in glory here where no medals hung from the men's dirty robes-my dad's Bronze Star safe in its velvet-lined box like the coffins those who didn't survive lay in" from "Hines VA Hospital." So many memories....connectivity.

I felt a deep connection to this poet's words and feelings. Marc Frazier has a way of delving deep into the human experience with few, impactful words. I highly recommend this diverse book of poems to explore.
